Ellen DeGeneres Shares Blunt Three-Word Statement After Trump Threatens To Revoke Rosie O’Donnell’s US Citizenship

Ellen DeGeneres ha shared a blunt three-word statement after Donald Trump threatened to revoke Rosie O’Donnell’s US citizenship.

In a somewhat random attack over the weekend, Trump took to Truth Social to issue a threat to the comedian.

He penned: “Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship. She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”

O’Donnell moved to Ireland with her son after Trump began his second term. She has often shared her criticisms of the president, publicly.

Experts, however, have argued that despite his dislike for the comedian, he does not have the power to remove her citizenship.

Law professor of the University of Virginia School of Law, Amanda Frost, explained: “The president has no authority to take away the citizenship of a native-born US citizen.

“In short, we are nation founded on the principle that the people choose the government; the government cannot choose the people.”

Despite this, O’Donnell has still hit back at Trump by sharing a photo of him with Jeffrey Epstein, along with the caption: “You are everything that is wrong with America and I’m everything you hate about what’s still right with it.

“I’m not yours to silence. I never was.”

White House Spokeswoman Abigail Jackson shared in response: “Rosie [O’Donnell’s] unhinged rants are a symptom of late-stage TDS [Trump Derangement Syndrome]. She’s way too far gone.

“Thank goodness she’s no longer in the United States.”

Now, Ellen DeGeneres has also hit back at Trump also. Taking to Instagram, the comedian shared a screenshot of the interaction, captioning it “Good for you @rosie.”
