“Brother of New Pope Leo XIV Sparks Outrage Over Vulgar Post Targeting Nancy Pelosi”

Louis Prevost, the 73-year-old brother of newly elected Pope Leo XIV, has come under scrutiny for sharing a Facebook post that referred to Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) using a derogatory term. The post included a video of Pelosi from the 1990s discussing tariffs, accompanied by a caption labeling her a “drunk c—.” Prevost, a Florida resident and ardent supporter of former President Donald Trump, has a history of posting inflammatory political content on social media.

In addition to the Pelosi post, Prevost has shared memes and comments criticizing Democrats, promoting conspiracy theories, and expressing anti-vaccine sentiments. He has also praised figures like Elon Musk and JD Vance, and made comparisons between Trump and Jesus Christ.

Despite their differing political views, Prevost expressed pride in his brother’s ascension to the papacy, stating that Pope Leo XIV, born Robert Francis Prevost, has always been peace-seeking. He believes his brother will be “a little more conservative” than Pope Francis.

The Vatican has not commented on the controversy surrounding Louis Prevost’s social media activity.
