Cassie Ventura Testifies to Enduring Abuse and Coercion in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Trial

In a harrowing testimony delivered in a Manhattan federal courtroom, singer and former model Cassie Ventura detailed a decade-long pattern of abuse and coercion by music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. Ventura’s statements are central to the ongoing federal trial in which Combs faces charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and facilitating prostitution.

Ventura, who began her relationship with Combs at the age of 19, described being subjected to physical violence, emotional manipulation, and forced participation in drug-fueled sexual encounters known as “freak-offs.” These events, often involving male sex workers, were allegedly orchestrated by Combs and could span several days. Ventura testified that refusal to participate was met with threats and further abuse.

One particularly disturbing aspect of her testimony involved Combs compelling her to call him “Pop Pop,” the same nickname she used for her grandfather, during these encounters. She also recounted instances of being physically assaulted, including being urinated on and beaten, and expressed fears that Combs would release explicit videos to sabotage her career.

The trial has garnered significant attention, with Ventura’s testimony shedding light on the alleged abuse of power within the entertainment industry. Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges. The proceedings are expected to continue over the coming weeks, with additional witnesses slated to testify.
