Woman with Uterus Didelphys Shares Challenges of Dating and Misconceptions…

Annie Charlotte, a 26-year-old content creator from Surrey, has opened up about living with uterus didelphys—a rare congenital condition resulting in two uteruses, two cervixes, and two vaginal canals. Diagnosed at 16 during a medical examination, Annie has since shared her experiences to raise awareness and foster understanding.

Despite the uniqueness of her anatomy, Annie notes that most of her partners are unaware of her condition. “I’ve slept with hundreds of men and 99.9 percent don’t realize I have two vaginas,” she stated. This lack of awareness is partly due to the internal nature of the condition, as externally, her anatomy appears typical.

However, when she does disclose her condition, reactions can be inappropriate. Annie recounted instances where men made crude remarks or propositions, reducing her to a novelty rather than acknowledging her as a person. Such experiences have led her to step back from dating apps, seeking more genuine connections in everyday settings.

Annie’s openness has also inspired others with similar conditions to share their stories, helping to destigmatize uterus didelphys and promote body positivity. Through her candid discussions, she aims to educate and encourage respectful conversations about unique medical conditions.
